IMI appoints FHM professor as Senior Consultant of IMI’s Managing Director in International Affairs

has appointed FHM German University of Applied Sciences Professor:

  • Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hamid Doost Mohammadian (FHM Director for International Management, Iran Representative and Head of FHM German Institute of SME for Iran (F-GISI))

    As Senior Consultant of IMI's Managing Director in International Affairs.


A brief biography of these professors is as follows:


Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hamid Doost Mohammadian is Director for International Management, Consultant of President/CEO and Head of FHM German Institute of SMEs for Iran (F-GISI) at University of Applied Sciences-Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) Germany.

He is an expert in International Management, Cultural Dimensions, Blue-Green Sustainability and Technology Management.

Beside this since April 2017, he is an External Professor at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Belin) in the field of Sustainable Mobility, Energy Management and Global SMEs.

Having worked in a key position offshore project for one of one of the largest and famous Gas companies named POGC, in his twenties, shows his extraordinary managing abilities.

Presently, he is professor and an external PhD supervisor/examiner of two British Universities, Worcester University and University of Gloucestershire.

In addition, he works as an academic leader of Erasmus+ project titled ''Internet of Energy (IoE)-Education/Qualification'' in Germany since 2017.

His experience on sustainability and Global SMEs such as cooperating as a senior consultant and partner at Danish Sustainable Platforms Company in Copenhagen, cooperating with former mayor of Copenhagen and researching on sustainability since 2012 and consulting the German MV state Minister of Energy and Infrastructure to cooperate with Iran in 2016, senior consultant for the German WME water desalination company in Munich, business developer for German Windrad Simulation & Engineering company in renewable energy and wind turbine in Bad Doberan utilized in his books and articles.

Previously, beside writing several books as well as a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences in combination of Management, Engineering and Blue-Green Sustainability he is reviewer at two International Journals, MDPI Initiatives OPEN ACCESS Journal in Electronics, Energies, Sustainability and Technologies and the Social Responsibility Journal (SRJ).

Prior to his academic and business life for almost 20 years he has been management consultant in the international industrial management sector.
