IMI and FHM will start 6 DBA programs in Global SME Management at IMI’s branches in 6 provinces

Dr. Abolfazl Kiani BAkhtiari, Managing Director at the Industrial Management Institute (IMI) and Prof. Dr. Hamid Doost Mohammadian, Director for International Management, Iran representative and Consultant of CEO/President at German University of Applied Sciences (FHM) inked six contracts to start a long term DBA program in "Global SME Management" for Iranian 6 provinces, Yazd, Qazvin, Kurdistan, Sistan & Baloochestan, Kermanshah and Hormozgan.

 

After a successful Post-Doctoral Program in "Global SME Management" which was the first professional post doc program in this filed in Iran, FHM (German University of Applied Sciences) and the Industrial Management Institute (IMI) have decided to start a long term DBA program in "Global SME Management" for Iranian 6 provinces, Yazd, Qazvin, Kurdistan, Sistan & Baloochestan, Kermanshah and Hormozgan. The program comprises 32 credits which four courses by FHM professors in one week at IMI Tehran, in Iran and the rest of the courses which will be held in other 6 provinces during 3 years. The program's capstone is a developing research project carried out by the candidates on subjects related to Global SME Management.

Upon completion of the program participants will be granted two DBA Certificates in Global SME Management one in English issued by IMI and FHM & FHM German Institute of SME for Iran (F-GISI) and another one in Persian issued by IMI.

 

The requirements for admission in the program are as follows:

    Holding a Master or MBA in management-related fields.

    English proficiency as the language of the program is English

    A research-oriented outlook resulting in the publication of an article in an ISI journal
